Why removal is important

If your home was built before 1990, most likely it will contain some type of asbestos product. In the early days many waterproofing membranes had some presence of asbestos.

Asbestos comes in many forms and just looking at something in your property will not tell you if it contains asbestos or not. To know whether your property is infected with asbestos, you will need to have it tested. It can appear in the ceilings, cladding, insulation, flooring, roofing and many other parts of your property.

There are many things that can disturb asbestos from simple maintenance work to renovation or demolition work, fire, flood or some other kind of damage.
